This high-level capacity-building and networking event will engage leading individuals from the Colombian business sector and a select few international attendees in “Venture Peacebuilding,” or how to contribute to systemic peace through building a sound business environment.
Proudly brought to you by:
This intensive 4-day workshop will offer practical tools for business men/women and companies that wish to enter or expand into territories affected by the armed conflict in Colombia, helping to answer the questions:
- How do I achieve profitable alliances for my company in territories affected by the armed conflict?
- How do I build peace into business plans? Why does peace protect my bottom line?
- How do I improve my company’s relations with diverse stakeholders?
- How do I manage difficult conversations through dialogue?
- How do I take advantage of innovative finance instruments to help grow my company?
The content is divided into three learning objectives: Dialogue, Decision-Making, and Cooperation. By focusing on these specific topics, the workshop will provide leaders the opportunity to develop the skills and networks to contribute to the necessary structural transformations Colombia needs to consolidate peace.
Each participant will receive individualized coaching to develop a “project,” which can take the form of a business plan, a business expansion, a community organizing strategy, or other activities that promote a sound business environment as a primary pillar for systemic sustainable peace.
Continued one-on-one coaching for one year following the workshop is included with participation.
The content will be in Spanish with simultaneous interpretation to/from English when necessary.
